A Site Council is a group of teachers, parents, and classified employees who work with the principal to develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs and school budgets. We meet monthly and participate in events that represent Edy Ridge Elementary. Parents are elected by ballot.
Often, our members’ children move down the hallway to Laurel Ridge
Middle School. This opens up positions
on the Site Council. This year we have
three parent positions. If you are

Like last year, nominees will be presented to Edy Ridge parents through an on-line ballot. The first Site Council meeting of 2012-13 will be on Thursday, October 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the Edy Ridge Staff Room.
