Proficiency Information Nights for Secondary Schools

posted Sep 28, 2012, 1:26 PM by Frank Luzaich

The District will host three informational nights in October on proficiency-based teaching and learning.  Proficiency is currently being piloted by several teachers at all secondary schools and implementation by all secondary teachers is scheduled for fall of 2013.  Gary Bennett, Chief Academic Officer, will present at each secondary school and answer questions.  Following the presentation, parents and community members will have an opportunity to take an online survey to provide us with your feedback.  We look forward to seeing you on these important evenings.  You may attend any of the evenings regardless of which school or schools your children attend.
